We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager for our Client based in Cork
The Project Manager (Civil Engineer) will be responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from concept through to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Manage procurement of materials, subcontractors, and equipment.
- Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and present updates to management and stakeholders.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and health & safety legislation.
- Handle project documentation, contracts, and variations.
- Foster positive client relationships and ensure satisfaction with project delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Honours Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
- Chartered Engineer – Preferable
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
- Proven track record in managing industrial, construction, or civil works projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.) and CAD tools.
- Own transport essential
Salary from €110k – Depending on experience
