Job Description

We want experienced Setting Out Engineers for our Clients based in the Leinster area  

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate setting out and surveying using instruments such as total stations, GPS equipment, and automatic levels.
• Establish control points and benchmarks on-site.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, CAD models, and digital construction files (e.g., BIM).
• Ensure construction works are carried out to design specifications and within tolerances.
• Provide dimensional checks and quality assurance throughout project delivery.
• Maintain and update site survey records, as-built drawings, and setting out data.
• Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and design teams to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer in civil engineering, infrastructure, or building projects.
• Proficient in the use of surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS, Levels) and software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Leica/Trimble).
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Full Clean EU Drivers Licence is essential
